Trauma-Informed Somatic Therapist
Men's Mental Health & Emotional Wellbeing Therapy
Men's mental health therapy supporting emotional wellbeing, stress, anger, identity, relationships, self-worth and the pressure to always stay strong.
Who Its For
Young adult men and men across all stages of adulthood experiencing stress, emotional shutdown, anger, low self-worth or relationship difficulties; those struggling with identity, vulnerability or the pressure to cope alone and always appear strong.
What To Expect
You might be good at getting on with things, solving problems and staying strong for everyone else. But when stress becomes anger, shutting down, overthinking or pulling away from the people around you, simply telling yourself to cope better rarely changes what is happening underneath.
Ollie brings a grounded, practical approach to men’s mental health, shaped by his experience in professional sport and understanding of performance, pressure and resilience. Using somatic approaches, nervous system regulation and talking therapy, he helps you understand what is happening beneath the reaction, recognise what your body is telling you and build ways to manage emotion without suppressing it.
This is about strengthening emotional wellbeing without losing the parts of yourself that make you who you are, becoming more in control of your responses, more comfortable in yourself and better equipped for relationships, pressure and the challenges life brings.
As an Integrative Counsellor and Trauma Informed Somatic Therapist, Ollie doesn’t believe one therapeutic approach fits everyone. Sessions draw from different forms of counselling alongside somatic therapy, nervous system regulation, mindfulness, breath and body awareness, adapting the work to you and what you need.
Ollie understands the world of pressure and performance first hand. After a decade in professional rugby, his own experience of physical and mental exhaustion led him to explore the connection between the mind, body, emotions and nervous system.
This means therapy can go beyond talking and analysing. You might explore the beliefs and experiences shaping how you feel, while also working with the physical responses underneath anger, anxiety, emotional shutdown, stress or feeling constantly on edge.
Practical, collaborative and grounded, Ollie helps you develop greater self awareness, emotional regulation and resilience, so change becomes something you can feel and use in everyday life, not simply something you understand intellectually.

When I first met Ollie, I'd been signed off work with ME/CFS and chronic fatigue. Even the smallest daily tasks felt exhausting, and I'd lost confidence that I'd ever get back to living a normal life. From our first session, it was clear that Ollie understood the complexity of chronic illness. Rather than pushing me to do more, he helped me learn how to work with my nervous system instead of constantly fighting against it. The sessions gave me a completely new understanding of why my body was responding the way it was. Over time, I noticed real changes. My energy became more stable, I felt calmer, my crashes became less frequent, and I finally started to trust my body again. Recovery wasn't about quick fixes—it was about creating the right conditions for healing, one step at a time. Ollie combines deep knowledge with genuine empathy and practical guidance. If you're struggling with chronic fatigue, burnout, or a dysregulated nervous system, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend working with him. It's been one of the best decisions I've made for my health.
