Helping You Move Beyond Survival Mode
Many of the people Ollie works with have spent years carrying responsibility, pushing through challenges and putting everyone else first. From business leaders and athletes to fathers, professionals and men navigating major life events, they often appear resilient on the outside whilst privately living with chronic stress, trauma or emotional exhaustion. Through trauma-informed somatic therapy, Ollie helps clients understand how their nervous system has adapted to prolonged pressure, creating the safety and awareness needed for genuine, lasting change.
Strength Isn't About Carrying Everything Alone
Society often teaches us to suppress emotion, stay productive and keep moving forward, even when our nervous system is asking for something different. Ollie believes healing begins when we stop fighting the body's natural responses and start listening to them instead.
Therapy offers a confidential, supportive space where resilience is rebuilt through understanding rather than endurance.
Areas of Expertise
Who I Work With
Ollie regularly supports men, professionals, executives, athletes, emergency service personnel, business owners and individuals living with PTSD, complex trauma, burnout, emotional overwhelm, chronic stress and performance-related anxiety.
A Space Where You Don't Have to Pretend You're Fine
Many men grow up believing they need to cope alone, avoid vulnerability or keep difficult emotions hidden. Over time, this can lead to chronic stress, burnout, emotional disconnection or relationship difficulties.
Ollie offers a supportive, confidential environment where you can begin exploring these experiences safely, helping your nervous system move away from constant survival mode and towards greater balance and resilience.
What Therapy with Ollie Looks Like
As an Integrative Counsellor and Trauma Informed Somatic Therapist, Ollie doesn’t believe one therapeutic approach fits everyone. Sessions draw from different forms of counselling alongside somatic therapy, nervous system regulation, mindfulness, breath and body awareness, adapting the work to you and what you need.
Ollie understands the world of pressure and performance first hand. After a decade in professional rugby, his own experience of physical and mental exhaustion led him to explore the connection between the mind, body, emotions and nervous system.
This means therapy can go beyond talking and analysing. You might explore the beliefs and experiences shaping how you feel, while also working with the physical responses underneath anger, anxiety, emotional shutdown, stress or feeling constantly on edge.
Practical, collaborative and grounded, Ollie helps you develop greater self awareness, emotional regulation and resilience, so change becomes something you can feel and use in everyday life, not simply something you understand intellectually.

Your first appointment is an opportunity to understand your story, your goals and how your nervous system has adapted over time. Together you'll create a therapeutic plan that feels safe, realistic and entirely centred around your needs. There is no pressure to share more than you're comfortable with, and sessions always progress at a pace that feels right for you.

"When I first met Ollie, I'd been signed off work with ME/CFS and chronic fatigue. Even the smallest daily tasks felt exhausting, and I'd lost confidence that I'd ever get back to living a normal life. From our first session, it was clear that Ollie understood the complexity of chronic illness. Rather than pushing me to do more, he helped me learn how to work with my nervous system instead of constantly fighting against it. The sessions gave me a completely new understanding of why my body was responding the way it was. Over time, I noticed real changes. My energy became more stable, I felt calmer, my crashes became less frequent, and I finally started to trust my body again. Recovery wasn't about quick fixes—it was about creating the right conditions for healing, one step at a time. Ollie combines deep knowledge with genuine empathy and practical guidance. If you're struggling with chronic fatigue, burnout, or a dysregulated nervous system, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend working with him. It's been one of the best decisions I've made for my health."

"I'd been living with chronic pain for years and had tried so many different approaches that I'd almost given up hope of finding anything that could make a real difference. Working with Ollie was completely different. Instead of treating me like a list of symptoms, he helped me understand how my nervous system, emotions, and body were all connected. Everything was explained in a way that actually made sense, and I never felt judged or rushed. For the first time in years, I began to feel safe in my own body. The pain gradually became less overwhelming, and I started getting parts of my life back that I'd thought I'd lost forever. More importantly, I no longer felt powerless. I now have practical tools that help me manage flare-ups and understand what my body is trying to tell me. If you've been living with persistent pain and feel like nothing has worked, I can't recommend Ollie enough. His knowledge, compassion, and whole-person approach have genuinely changed my life."
