Supporting You Through Life's Most Significant Changes

Some experiences change us in ways that words alone cannot fully express.

Whether you're grieving the loss of someone close, navigating menopause, questioning your identity or adapting to a major life transition, these experiences can leave a lasting imprint on both the mind and body.

Tanya offers a calm, compassionate space where healing happens gently, helping you reconnect with yourself through trauma-informed somatic therapy, embodiment practices and nervous system regulation.

Healing Through Compassion, Presence and Connection

With more than thirty years of experience supporting individuals and communities, Tanya believes that healing begins by slowing down, creating safety and allowing ourselves to be present with our experiences rather than pushing them away.

Her work recognises that grief, change and identity are deeply embodied experiences, and that lasting healing comes from working with both the body and mind together.

Who I Work With

Tanya works with women navigating menopause and midlife, individuals experiencing grief or major life changes, people exploring identity and belonging, and anyone looking for a compassionate, body-based approach to healing and emotional wellbeing.

Finding Belonging in Times of Change

Life transitions often lead us to question who we are, where we belong and how we move forward. Whether these changes are connected to family, culture, ageing, relationships or personal growth, Tanya provides a safe, reflective space to explore these experiences whilst developing greater self-acceptance, resilience and connection.

What Therapy with Tanya Looks Like

With over 30 years of experience holding transformational spaces, Tanya brings a depth of presence that allows therapy to move beyond simply understanding your story. Her work is particularly suited to those navigating grief, identity, belonging, menopause, relationships and significant life transitions.

Tanya’s approach weaves trauma informed somatic therapy, embodiment, nervous system awareness and grief work with the healing potential of relationship. There is space for what life does not always make room for: grief alongside joy, vulnerability alongside strength, and rest alongside the pressure to keep going.

As a mixed race woman who grew up between cultures, Tanya also brings a deeply personal understanding of identity and belonging, and of what it can mean to find your place within yourself, your relationships and the wider world.

Sessions are not about fixing you or becoming someone new. They offer a space to explore what lies beneath years of expectation, protection and survival, reconnect with your body and discover a more honest and authentic way of being in your life.

“I came to Tanya while moving through the end of a 16-year relationship and a painful, messy rupture. I was beginning to realise that I had been repeating the same relational patterns, and I was carrying a great deal of grief that I wanted to allow to move through me in a held and supported way. With Tanya’s guidance, I was able to soften and surrender to the experience, to feel and accept all that was present. She shared somatic tools and practices that helped me move emotions that had felt stuck, while her insightful questions gently shifted my perspective and empowered me to see both myself and my experience differently. I came away with a deeper trust in myself and in my capacity to navigate the inevitable contractions of life”

"I can’t thank Tanya enough for the pivotal role she’s played in a journey that, for me, has been the most difficult chapter of my life so far. She has supported me through grief, fear and pain to place of heart connection, joy and pleasure. On a practical level she’s helped me navigate an illness which doctors say usually just gets worse, but with her help I was able to step out of discomfort and fear and navigate it better than I had ever imagined. She’s helped me to learn tools and practices to connect to myself, which have improved my life and the life of my young family. I feel truly blessed to have her in my life."

"I am so thankful to have found Tanya and have  had the chance to have sessions with her. She has helped me find myself. She gave me the tools to connect to my mind and body and gain a better understanding of my thoughts and emotions. In our session she created an environment of love and understanding. Honestly, words will not be enough to describe how grateful I am for Tanya and our session together."

"I have been exploring difficult feelings of grief and anger many of which originate in old issues from childhood. I have found her to be a compassionate and therapeutic practitioner with a wealth of experience and tools. In the past I was introduced to the notion of parenting myself, loving my wounded child, being the adult who takes care of that younger self, in various ways, through reading, therapy etc, ut although I understood the concept intellectually it had never been something I could embody or feel. Working with Tanya in a very instinctive and embodied way, using visualisation, sound, posture and props, alongside her intuition for what is needed, I finally found my way to experiencing being the loving adult that my younger self so needed to have care for her. It was a very meaningful experience that has stayed with me."
